We are all going to go through hard times. It's life. It's promised to us, but...
Our lives here on earth are temporary, but our spiritual lives whether in Heaven or Hell are forever.
Sometimes, God will allow you to crash and get hurt to save you from something that could possibly destroy you. You'll see it coming, you'll see the obstacle in front of you and try to avoid it but you won't be able to. You will crash and possible get hurt, but the crash will just be a collision with His grace over your life saving you from something far worse.
My life has been scattered with these droughts. More often than I'd like to admit, they come when I become too consumed with seeking worldly things, and I forget to seek the water―the thing so very vital to my existence. The noise of the world distracts me, and before I know it, I'm angry at God for forgetting about me.
Waiting is a time to open our hearts to God, to seek Him, and to listen to His small still voice whisper into our hearts. It’s a time to refocus our hearts and minds to what really matters as He removes all distractions from our lives. It's a time to dig deeper into His heart as He reveals our own.
When God has an appointment with you, nothing can intervene.
Connect to the Creator because He's already connected to you. He knows your heart and thoughts and what makes you you. Don't you want to know Him too?
If you broke every bone in your body, it would be very hard to break a bone again. This is sanctification in its visual form. God continuously breaks us in every possible place, until we can no longer be broken.
