Within the howling winds of opposition, it's hard to hear the still small whisper of truth. We can let opposition consume our minds or we can contend for His small still voice and resent the noise
It wasn't until recently that I understood that the past is really in the past, and it's okay for me to move forward. It's okay for me to let it go and make room in my heart for the future God has in store. It's okay to miss it, but it's not okay to let it make me miserable. The past only has as much hold on us as we allow it to, and most of the time that hold is actually us holding on to it.
Until recently, I have found the "best" to be an encouragement for the future. The saying itself says "it's to come", but why do we have to wait for the best to come? Why can't we make the best of today so that better can come tomorrow?
Our lives here on earth are temporary, but our spiritual lives whether in Heaven or Hell are forever.
Sometimes, God will allow you to crash and get hurt to save you from something that could possibly destroy you. You'll see it coming, you'll see the obstacle in front of you and try to avoid it but you won't be able to. You will crash and possible get hurt, but the crash will just be a collision with His grace over your life saving you from something far worse.
Connect to the Creator because He's already connected to you. He knows your heart and thoughts and what makes you you. Don't you want to know Him too?
If you broke every bone in your body, it would be very hard to break a bone again. This is sanctification in its visual form. God continuously breaks us in every possible place, until we can no longer be broken.
We need to be so focused on God that the outside noise, even our own noise is just background noise, and every step we take is because the Father says, "go" and every stop we make is because the Father says, "hold on" and every dream we pursue is because the Father says, "continue on".
